What a day. 12 subarus gathered for a long day of installs. From what I remember there were 3 UP installs, 4 swaybars, a set of brakes, rotors, and fluid change. Lots of work, good times, and a first, 3 Sabbarus in one place... Anyone else want to chime in?

    The whole group

wowzers.... That was a lot of installs.

Great having everyone out, I'm glad all the installs went well (minus mokinbird87's rear sway).
Sorry I couldn't have been a better host and grilled up some food.

All we would need to piss them off is Mike doing some WOT pulls up and down the street. Damn that thing is mean and loud. What a sleeper.

Not really sure to be truthful.

The only bitching I've heard (and heard plenty of) was from the wife, and it was that Afande had to pull out on and turn around on the front yard grass to get out. :coolugh:
He didn't do any damage, thank goodness his turbo didn't spool up and leave 4 burn-out marks in the yard.

The neighborhood has a group on Yahoo that I've asked her to monitor.
They bitch about a bunch of stupid shit in there, so I figured that someone would be yapping. Nothing yet though.

I'm also pretty close with all my neighbors, so I don't imagine any of them would complain.

This install was about the max size too. I can't imagine having anyone else over and having room for them...

It was a fun, long day for sure. Thanks everyone for coming out and helping/hanging out! I'm glad we were able to get everything done.

thanks a ton ped... you know a guy is a good mechanic when he can do a full exhaust system swap on a rsx (when he's used to working on wrx, sti) in a lil over 3 hours when the estimated time for it is about 3 hours, not including having to saw through a welded on midpipe that took 30-45 min to finish

    btw, lovin it:bowdown:

Uh oh. I hope that won't prevent us from doing more installs at your house. It was alot of fun, you're an awesome host, and the nearby roads were PERFECT for properly bedding my new brakes! :p

That's awesome. Ped, it took less time to do all those cars than my one car back in September and we didn't even get the rear brakes done.

The autozone caliper spreader works wonders - ofcourse it still took me 6-8 hrs.

We sure thought it was cursed the first time we tried to change the rear pads. Couldn't push the pistons in with c-clamps. Come to find out they twist as they go in, so the autozone tool was needed. Wish I would have checked the pad before the last track day, because I wore them down to the metal and trashed the rotors too.

Life is good. More importantly, how's life with the baby? Are you adjusting to no sleep?

Well...would have been easy a few months ago after I sold the R, but somehow I'm managed to rifle through most of the proceeds so looks like I'm stuck with the Cobra for a little while longer. Think I'm gonna get gears and larger MAF system installed soon along with a dyno tune. Would like to get heads and a cam after that to try and tide me over for a while until I can make the jump to light (STi) speed. It's still pretty fun at the track - even if it isn't as fast as your 4 cylinder.

Actually took it up to the mtns last weekend to see how it handled there compared to the R. It was a little scarier to say the least. Just went up 19 and 60 up to Woody Gap and back. My son went on a charity motorcycle ride with my Father in Law last Sun morning that ended in Dahlonega. While I was up there I took the opportunity to stretch the Cobra's legs there - quite a bit different than my last trip(s) with AWD. What was really fun was on the way down I had a sport bike behind me so I was really trying to push it.
