you need to offer this too alex, i got bored today and gave it a shot. came out pretty good! http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/ind...e&friendID=62207309&albumID=0&imageID=6173057 color matching rocks!
Got my tight LED corner lights installed. Alex you are more than welcome to grab the pics for yourself and put your logo or whatever on them. Comparison pic. Stock light. LED light...it matches my 6K HID's PERFECT! Night shot of the HIDS Night shot of the LED corners only
TSX Clear Lens Installed Stock 2006 HID Projectors at Warmup w/ TSX clear lens installed Warming up at cutoff, yay for colouring Nice & warm Nice still with the lamps off; semi-flat black housings, chrome accent ring, parking/city light LEDs & chrome blinkers cheers, ak
I'll be playing with Clay's lights some more next week. I want to adjust the spacing of the lens to see if I can fine-tune the cutoff and increase the output somewhat. One of the better parts about working with lighting is that there is always room to experiment and learn Who's up next?
So Sanjay (Jesus888) stopped by this morning for some work and left w/ amber-less lamps, clear bulbs, LEDs & JDM fogs! Everyone knows what amberless lamps look like, or at least you should by now However, not that many people have seen the JDM bumper beam, its at least 1/2 the weight of the USDM one. Here's a comparison shot. Now, technically, the beam is a joke to remove (& install)...assuming you dont strip a nut If that is the case, Sanjay and I strongly recommend a dremel and chisel -- this is, of course, if you do not have a stripped nut & bolt remover dealio. Once you do manage to remove it, you'll be greeted by your toothless Subaru "But where did the bumper and such go," you may ask... Reassembled... And finally, nobody fucks with the Jesus! /ak
The entire process was tedious at time (right alex???). But seriously, Alex whooped some ass and didn't let us quit til the job was done... the combination of the cleared lights/leds plus the fogs just sets the car off now...
Now I see what the big deal was that Clay was talking about with the foglights. Those JDMs are NiocE!
If you end up having your 350z done, definitely let me know. My dad got a black one earlier and already tinted it all around. Now he's heavily considering doing the tail lights, and I keep trying to talk him into painting the headlights. So I'm sure some pictures would help sway his decisions
I will be doing Tom's lights (both front and rear), upgrading bulbs, etc. What year is your dad's Z? I can provide some reference photos.
Additionally, we will work on Legacy lamps. PM if you're interested! This includes painting, retrofitting and lens upgrading. I will be updating the pricing soon.
It's a 2006.5 so he already as the projectors and lcds. But yeah, I'll be really curious to see what it looks like painted.
holy crap, those are smoking. the whole damn car looks tight. Let the modds begin! I dont like the yeylid thing though.
Another satisfied 10th Street customer. Joey's 07 WRX Limited, now with semi-flat black housings, amber reflectors, chrome bulbs and type-ra centre grille trim An interesting angle on the RA dealio... In hindsight, perhaps a polarizer filter would help cutdown on the reflection ?
Joey came over and said he wanted to do it, so I suggested he practice. Then we worked on a technique to lay it down and he finished the rest. But, come on over, I'll do it NP
