Hey all. Contacted Michael at Sakari Motorsports about doing another group buy for the Hella Supertone. So far I've got 2, including me. Need at least 5 before he'll do another one. If there is enough interest he'll start a thread in the vendor group buys.

    Interested?

Unfortunately, I can't say what the prices will be. He said roughly the same, so that's good for me.

The prices below are from the previous group buy, and again, the price might me different. Guess it depends on how many buyers are interested.

"There are two different types with different level of dB output but looks exactly the same.

    Part number: HL85115 (118 dB) - $55 picked up or $60 shipped

    Part number: HL85315 (113 dB) - $45 picked up or $50 shipped"

Is this the single or double horn setup?
    Also, wasn't there a 200db version?

  16. Thanks Gary for starting up this thread.

The prices will most likely be same. I will double check with our supplier tomorrow morning. However, I will not offer picked up option for this group buy. It was just too hard last time we did local pick up.

This is a double horn setup for both 118db and 113db. It's a very easy, straight forward install. You will need to purchase the electrical wire though since the horns only comes with two horns and a relay. It's also easy to take the face grill off and paint it whatever color you like if you don't like the red. I've had mine painted black with a spray can and it looked great behind the grille.

I will start a group buy thread once we get few more that are interested! Thanks guys...

does it come with 2 horns for $60? 1 for low and 1 for high.... or is it just 1 horn so i would have to get both low and high tone? so im lookin at 120$?

    The stockers are 110db's.
I'm not sure the 113db horns are really worth it.

    It's well worth the $$

They're not really that bad, when we installed mine we were expecting something outrageously loud, now for some dipshits on the road I wish it was louder.

  31. pEd

yeah, it's really not that loud once you're on the road and people have their radios on and whatnot.
It's only loud if you're standing in front of it and someone honks.

If they made louder Hellas (not the train or airhorn type) I'd buy some of those instead.

    And, not sure about these:

    8-bomjoon
    9-rexrocker
    10-gtscoob

  33. The 113db horns will not be available since they are on backorder.

that price only gets rid of shipping cost...these are normally $60

Still waiting on the group buy! I really would like to buy some soon :D

  39. It's really difficult to offer great amount of discounts on these products since their profit margins are very low. Remember 10% off of $60 is only $6. On top of that, I would have to pay shipping twice to get it to me and ship it out individually to you guys. ;)

I will start a group buy thread tomorrow morning. Thanks
