I have the same setup and I enjoy it a lot. Great daily driving turbo with good power. It's probably equal to a 16G, maybe a little less, but it spools quickly! I still need to get SS to tune mine, though.

Nowhere near the flow of a 16G but should still be fun without sacrificing spool.

the VF34 is about the same as a 16g, can put down around 300AWHP with catless exhaust and stuff, should spool the same as stock as i am getting rid of the uppipe cat and then gonna get it dyno tuned. Shootin for 300, but well see..summer kills power

    yes it does.

you should have no problem making 300 hp.. is yours a 2.5 or 2.0?

nvm 2.0 i guess if its 16g like you should hit full boost by 3200~3500 rpm. and can make upto 400whp

Its probally a little small for 300hp on a daily, but it will be a lot of fun to drive

Not to be a hater but without meth or race gas you're not going to get 300whp out of any IHI turbos, save for maybe a worked VF22.

You are not getting near 300 hp with the stock intercooler either.

Still without race gas or methanol you will be hard pressed. I'm not bashing you at all just stating the facts. My buddy has a VF34 with meth injection on a Hyperflow TMIC and I walk him on my pump gas map. My pump gas is 315 hp 302 tq.

However it is fast spooling and very fun....I enjoy driving it in town more than my big turbo but on the open road I'll take my car....haha

im not worried about making lots of power, just usable power, for autox and fun street driving. who knows maybe ill add some meth injection too!!

I hear ya. Word of advice. Never go in with numbers in your head. Just tell Siegel that you want the most reliable and the widest and most useable power band and he will take care of ya. His tunes feel so smooth and safe that it doesn't feel as fast as it really is. That's what it's all about.
