Folks, Wanted to say hello, new to these cars (04 Sti here). Purchased it last month with 8K miles on the odo with TBE, 2 piece rotors, JIC, ECU flash, swaybars. This was a track only car and was driven at DE events throughout the SE. Am a track junkie (ex SCCA autoxer-including Nationals), currently BMW/Porsche Driver's Ed Instructor and also compete in BMW Club Racing. Came from E36 M3s and am enjoying these cars quite a bit. I saw another silver car on Northside this past Saturday evening. Some guy (wearing a formal outfit) with his g/f was driving up. Stopped him near GA Tech and he told me about this website. Welcome to the boards. There a good amount of us at Tech and in midtown, so don't be surprised if you see a lot more. And yeah, 8k on an 04 is pretty damn sweet.
Meredith, I have heard a lot about you from Mike McCoy I would like to come and autox one of these days with you all. GA Tech and other local folks, how about a get together sometime soon? Would love to talk about the technical aspects of the car, setups and more importantly meet some STi folks I have been with the BMW scene since 99 and would like to connect with you guys as well. Nah bro Just want to meet some folks with a similar car as mine to discuss more of setup/what mods/exhaust sound etc. Maintenance etc. I dont know of a single STi guy in town. Sorry about that
