While I'm thinking about it, I know someone with a BLUE Escort x50 for sale. You already have the stealthy wires for it and he probably only wants $150... My roomie bought mine, but a guy at my work has one too. We've both moved up to the new 9500i.

I know! I just get back from Mexico and get a call from one of my other friends about some yellow subaru being parked in front of my house. Normally its just my car, Alexs car, or Blinks car.

He had nothing but praise for the car when I talked with him after the test drive a couple of weeks ago.

I found your stock sway bars. I knew I'd miss something.

I finally bought a replacement last night. '05 STi with coilovers. Yours is much faster above 3K and the brakes feel much better. I didn't realize how fast that thing had gotten until I took a step down into an STi. I'll probably take it to BG for a STU legal tune and get some new pads, but so far I feel like a dumbass.

Yes, $150 is the going rate for these bad boys. You're going to need one. The wire is tucked into the headliner above the rear view. The 9500 is the one with GPS. I like it, but I think the x50 is more sensitive. So far I'm not too impressed.

 

What color STi did you get tasty?

 

silver with silver. I know... yawn... but at least it's not blue. I got to work early today and half the guys didn't even notice it.

yeah i wouldnt mind picking up the stock sway bars. I will be out of town this weekend, so I can't pick them up for a bit.

5 bucks says you get the mod bug and the STi won't be in A Stock for long...

 

It came with coilovers, strano F bar (for sale), and a catted DP. That's a pretty good STU setup and I'm probably going to leave it there.

Scotty got a deal on your car and he let me drive it :keke:. Feels really good, how much boost is it tuned to run, I dont know the conversion from mpa to psi off the top of my head and didnt really watch the gauge.

 

I don't know. Ask SS. He talks so damn fast I couldn't catch most of what he said. I do know it's programmed to hit peak at about 4850/5 then taper down past that. It's his standard stage 2 tune.

1 bar = 14.503 psi the gauge is in Mbar, which is .001 Mbar = 14.503 or something like that. I don't remember

 

If its a standard SS tune its probably 19psi peak with his usual taper.

 

If you want some cheap/free Sonic Yellow touch-up paint, PM SonicBoom. He's the guy that I bought the STi hood scoop from. Nice guy. He had a sonic and moved on to an STi also.
