SCCA Points #6 night autocross at AMS

Sick of running in the heat? Next Saturday evening, Atlanta Region SCCA will be holding a night event. Since if gets dark late, it won't truly be dark for all competitors, but it won't be sweltering!!!
This event will be held at Atlanta Motorspeedway.
There will be lights at the lot in case you were wondering. Preregistration and prepay is required. Hope to see you there!

If my INLET PIPE gets here....and if I get the 4 pots on, I'll run SM. No brakes, STU.

No inlet pipe...no autox.

No. Just sign the waiver and stay in the designated spectator areas.

 

Does this event have a split registration like the normal daytime events? If so, what time is the split registration or is this covered somewhere?

Very doubtful we'll make it. I'm still lacking coilovers and inlet pipe for my car.

 

This should be a really fun event. I hope to see some of you guys out there!

No coilovers until the 11th, and the place I ordered the inlet pipe from are being chodes.

 

I gotta work till 6, but I'll probably come out to watch after I get off.

 

man, we need more people to sign up It will be a fun event, and much better than running in the summer heat. I had some heat exhaustion last weekend from the crazy heat.

Although I didn't participate, I wish more would be held in the evenings.

 

It was a fun event with a nice and fast course

 

I was there but since I didn't know anyone but 5spdfrk I didn't hang out very long. Saw lots of WRXs though.

 

Very fun course.... however it got increasingly difficult to drive the later it got.

 

yeah, agreed.... the later that it got, the harder it got to look ahead and find the places that I needed to turn-in/brake/look ahead.... but nevertheless, it was a fun event.
