I just upgraded to this as well and some days it seems slower than an evo...

 

+1 Extreme 6.0 has been rocking in our household for the last few months. Love it!

there is no 'fast internet' in america when for less than what we pay you get 20mbs or faster from MOBILE devices in a place like south korea. 9_9 We are so behind....

 

well korea is one of the if not the most "wired" countries in the world. as far as the internet/computer technology goes...

I remember some post on another forum comparing speeds (through some website program) back in the day. My internet speed destroyed everyone...

shrug, something happened with my comcast and i get like 150kBs upload speeds now, dunno why. i used to only get 40.

Keith, stop using your work connection.

 

Comcast has that "speed boost" thing and thats why you see alot of the comcast connections being way up there. Most testing programs don't work long enough to get past the spike in bandwidth.



Did not know my upload was that fast.

 

It seems like Cable > ADSL in general census. However, I recently switched to ADSL from Comcast since my neighborhood is always clugged with heavy DLer during evening time.

It would be nice if you can post your your ISP.

 

I am on Comcast as well. Its a 6Mbps connection with "Power Boost".

 

this was to a server in atlanta. for some reason, the connection to the server in jacksonville, fl (which is closer to me) is much slower....

 

Download Speed: 6460 kbps (807.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 428 kbps (53.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

 

Never fast enough...

 

i had iftl.. damn that shit was fast... now we have cable..

Download Speed: 6159 kbps (769.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 485 kbps (60.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

 

Is this fast?? Don't know too much about this stuff........ This is with Comcast..

 

Comcast here as well. Though, it is running noticeably quicker than normal this am...

 

Damn scott was smart enough to hide his IP address from that screen shot.

Here's mine from work. We finally got a full 10mb up/down fiber connection.

Download Speed: 10111 kbps (1263.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 11874 kbps (1484.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
