The other clubs organizing this event have had similar requests brought to them. However, the event has already been paid for. We are not making a profit. In fact, each organizing club has already put money out of pocket to cover remaining balances. Hence, unfortunately, we will not be able to offer refunds. We will try to find people to fill your spots. However, it would be best if you can find replacements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, feel free to PM either Alex or myself.

I might come out to watch.... this is the weekend before scca nationals, really can't risk messing up my car right before.
In the past DOT slicks are fine, as along as there are no cords showing.... I'm sure Alex will clairfy this.
Youre brighton will be fine, anything sub 70 seconds is quick, sub 68 is moving pretty good, Sub 65 is smoking and sub 62 is me. lol

Being away this summer, my involvement in planning these events has been limited. But based on the eligibility criteria we had agreed upon before I left, I don't see why you should not be able to represent our team.
Sweet I will see what I can do about making the event. We ran 62.9 there on the new course in onelap trim. I am sure now with R compounds, less weight, and more hp we should be able to run under 60secs.
There was a 350WHP turbo S2K last time I was there lapping at 72 seconds...  There was also a MX5 (Miata) with coilovers and a Panoz driver lapping at 72 seconds...
Sorry for the delay Spectators are just fine, make it a family event. Pack a lunch! Doug, regarding the Brighton -- bring it! Much like everyone else Id love to see the car out on the track. Its a Subaru driven by a member of WRXAtlanta so its 'legal' Any other questions?
doing this for a timeslip without proper suspension seems pointless... but i would love to drive out and help
nah cause my sway bar is girthier edit: mmtasty you need to register for the subaru challenge /end threadjack
i had my car on the road atlanta road course weeks after ownership and look forward to another opportunity. I'd like to go an represent!!!!!!!!
^^ :eek3: What!? Not hating on Mustangs since I used to have one, but it should at least be a Subaru...
We contemplated placing restrictions. However, clubs like Redline are not make/model specific so to enforce make/model restrictions would be futile.
