    Haha, awesome!

    My mom really likes the Smart cars and I was afraid for awhile that she was going to get one whenever they made it to the states (next year I believe). I think I've finally talked her into a Mini though :)

    Have a look at the crash tests on the Smarts. Top Gear ran one into a concrete barrier at 70mph or so and the doors still worked.

    They can be bought here but for some rather insane prices. The official importing starts next year or so and then we'll see the more normal pricing...

    Canada has them. My parents talked to a guy who drove one once and that's where he said he got his from.
