So, I am interviewing with a company of Glenlake and Ashford-Dunwoody. 1st Interview: Met with 2 people, tag teamed on questions. Went great as expected. I sent a follow up "thank-you" email 2nd Interview/Exams: Called back to take a 100 question aptitude exam (graded automatically by CPU) and a written exam (2 day wait for hand grading). Re-interviewed with same individuals plus 2 more. Took another exam on MS Access, big surprise, no warning. Today: Called by the HR recruiter and was told that I passed all exams. Then, I think she is going to offer me the position, but she doesn't! She says, well you will hear from me early next week with the next steps in the process. So what do you think? I am very nervoushnoes:
don't see why you wouldn't have gotten it. but i'm assuming its just like any other job. gotta keep bugging them otherwise they may forget about you. oh and BTW tereance, I'm moving back to Statesboro...! I know WTF?!?! right?
WTF, do not go back there! Your life will slow and you will grow old fast! What happened.....geez....:hsnono:
That's sure what I hope! If so, I can continue with my life of 2 jobs. 1 full time career and 1 part time extra money gig!:ddirty:
If they haven't offered you the position by now there's a good chance they've narrowed the field down to a few candidates. Now they will make offers trying to get the best person for the least $$$.
The company I currently work for took two months to decide if they wanted me.....it happens. About the aptitude tests....where can I get those? Our company hires complete idiots and doesn't test any techical people. I always joke about putting a VCR in front of them to see if they can set the clock w/o any help. Either you do it or you can't.
Well, turns out from inside sources they hired a female with no experience. On top of that they felt that I was too polished. I have been out of school for a year and 3 months, how the hell am I too polished for a job as a Database Marketing Specialist! FAVOR from the WRX ATL community...... Please PM me links or pass my resume on to your place of employment or to anyone you may know. I have degrees in Logistics and Marketing. I am good with ALL MS Office products (esp. Excel and Access). Fast learner, entry-level is fine...... Thanks in advance for any help......
Look on monster for my company. Acuity Brands Lighitng. I know there are some positions out there but I don't know what you are looking for. Look at the ones for Conyers unless you want to move...
Ah, the big question.......doesn't matter really, shoot me any leads or ideas:bowdown: I was making a little under $45k at my last job
We have large departmens with all of that. You just need to get your foot in the door. Let me know how that Demand Planning postion works out. It would be nice for my Saabaru to have a friend in the parking lot.
haha, yeah i'm back. sucks worse than when you and i left. but its a job.... that doesn't quite pay the bills.
