what music wants to make you downshift and go? oh man... i guess for me JFK - Whiplash The Offspring - The kids aren't alright just to name a few
we on a 3 song minimum?? Rob Zombie - Dragula Korn - Y'all Want a Single Marilyn Manson - Beautiful People I'll limit to 3 songs since I live my life 3 songs at a time =)
I know when I would race quads, I would listen to a big variety of music but it all boils down to loud and fast!!!
Hmmm... My fast driving mix CD would be (in no particular order): Van Halen "Hot for Teacher" Metallica "Damage Inc." Limp Bizkit "Nookie" Garbage "As Heaven is wide" Daft Punk "Around the World" Chemical Bros "Block Rocking Beats" **Ozzy "Crazy Train"** And a couple picks from AC/DC and NIN
Audioslave "Cochise" 311 "Solar flare" Pearl Jam "Rear View Mirror" STP "Down" There are definitely some others...I'm going to have to make this a cd for the Subaru challenge
As far as Audioslave, I prefer "Show Me How to Live"... or "Sound of a Gun", that one rocks too. I'll also add: Buckcherry - Slammin' The Vines - Ride Metallica - Fuel + Ain't My Bitch
the classic boxer rumble! oh yeah, and a lot of punk like pennywise, offspring, rancid, bad religion, etc.
hmmm, been listening to Rage against the machine a lot when i drive, btw aren't they suppose to come out with another album?
^^^ Rage had been slippin before they broke up... Battle for Los Angeles was just ok and the latest one was pretty weak. Haven't heard they got back together????
my faves for racing: 1.-cosmicman -krystal dreams 2.-phynn -lucid 3.-voodoo & serrano -silent heart you down shift, accelerate...music slows to a level and NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
Audioslave - "Cochise" That "my way or the highway" song from The Fast and The Furious (I know I know..) And most of Metallica's "Load" album.
I enjoy "The distance" by cake, mainly because the bass line sounds pretty similar to the boxer rumble
When I want to go fast I turn off the music, and listen to everything else. Fast cruising however, something like NIN (the faster techno type), RATM, or the Matrix soundtrack. I thought Rage got together for a California only tour, like 6 shows or something. Didn't hear anything about them getting back together.
I think 6 months back or something that Rage was going to be possibly getting back together. I now they played coachella I saw them back in umm 97 and I will say it was one of the best concerts I have been to.
I can assure you if you are driving through ATL (or elsewhere) late at night this song is the shit late night alumni, empty streets free copy: http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gth316a/drive.mp3
George Thorogood - Gear Jammer and Allman Brothers - Jessica ...are the two I can think of off the top of my head. Definitely my favorite driving tunes...
