Hello all I decided to join WRX Atlanta as I met with one of your members this weekend at the hooters car show he was supporting one of his friends in a silver neon. I told him about my project , it is a 1993 Impreza that I have put the AWD system in and am in the process of putting in an EJ20R thats the twin turbo out of the RSK legacy and im not converting it to a single turbo. I have everything but the exaust ready. Maybe some of you remember me from the 2006 Drift Atlanta event, I was driving then my white 93 impreza wagon and parked at the end of the line where all the impezas were parked. Thanks, Robert Gruber
:wavey: glad u came aboard dawg:bowdown: that project is gonna be killer!!!! post up some pics/links.......

Welcome to the community. Now sign up for the Subaru Challenge or fear the wrath of Keith http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13520 damn rexrocker beat me to it ..
in 1993 there were very few that actualy had FWD but the transmitions where not of the best internal quality they start to whine and the gears start to fail if you have more than factory horspower and unfortunatly mine failed and I hade to chose between a new setup or new tranny for 5000 dollars.as you can see i chose the new settup for 3600.
bzzzt. Until the MY1997, all SUBARUs had AWD as an OPTION. Some trim levels/models had it standard...aka WRX/STi/GT etc....but on an absolute base model, it was 2WD. IIRC the US market is the only place in the world currently that 2WD SUBARUs are no longer sold. Some markets are exclusively 2WD. The rest is a large sea of options all the way from the 1.5L FWD 5MT Impreza, all the way up to the STi Version 10, including limited models. IIRC the Tribecca is USDM only.
Welcome to wrxatlanta! That's a very interesting engine. Keep us updated. I'm curious to see how the project will turn out
Well I had to send my wiring off on the 20th to enginewiring.com he said he could have it done in one week. I dont know it was a nightmare it was all tangled up and stuff but he said they had the scematics for my car and for the 97 EJ20R so we'll see. cause that and the exaust is all that is left other than the racing seats.
