So I need to get roll my fenders due to slight rubbing issues and I know Im not the only one.

pEd and I were talking about hosting a roll your fenders day either at his house or mine, we both live in Cumming. It costs $70 to get the tool. I know there are at least 2 of us interested in doing this, so the cost will not be more than $35/person. Which all depends on how many people show up and want to get rolled (So the more people that show the cheaper it is for you :naughty:). Cash will have to be paid the day of the fender rolling day! I haven't decided on a day due to me waiting to here back from the supplier. *I or pEd have never rolled fenders so we do not accept responsibility for any damages* so basic you'll do you own.

I met a guy named Joe last weekend Turner field who owns one of those and was happy to offer it to me. I actually don't think he's on the board (yet). let me see if I can track him down... I may as well go ahead and roll mine.

so I had three BRILLIANT ideas last night.
    1) if you have AAA, when you go to a bar leave your lights on. when you're ready to go home call AAA and have the tow truck driver take you AND your car home!
    2) make a Bobby Cox Braves jersey. OK, that's not brilliant, but it would make money.
    3) get a few frineds to rent matching cars and take them to an autocross! Like automatic Malibus or something...

So, who wants to rent a car and drive to Gainesville?

My friends that work for car mags do this on a regular basis. You should see the look on the guys face at Enterprise when you return your car with chalk lines on the tires and random performance stickers all over the car!!

If I get this training class in Orlando, I'll sign up for it. It might just pan out. If I do go, could I borrow your jack, I'd rather not leave all my tools (and tires) in my car for a week in Orlando.

I am in. Just let me know the date.

Meredith, I thought you couldn't alter the cars fenders in order to accomodate tires, or is that just the stock class?

I'm in. We tried to do this a while ago and rent one from rollyourfender.com but nobody would pony up the $300 deposit on the heatgun and fender roller.

If it isn't necessary, don't roll your fender. You are taking a risk when rolling your fender. It is very easy to chip the paint and have an entire fender crack and peel away.

Does anyone have a 275/40/17 that I could mock up under my car?

Are you selling the wheels with them? How much were you looking per set or per tire?

Hmmm.... I can't help you with tire widths for 18s. I've only had personal experience with 17s. Sorry. Searching may find something.

Keep me in mind when you get rid of them. Do you still have those 5mm spacers?

    Ditto this question.
