Petit Le Mans

This event is a little over a month away, October 3-6. I will definitely be there on Friday. Any word of a car corral or discounted tickets? :naughty:

Last year there was a ticket/parking pass deal. I believe talks are currently in the works. Keep your eyes open.

 

Last year was rocking! I'll be there. Considering camping...not 100% on that yet.

my Father will be back this weekend from a race that is in Michigan. he is the one that helped coordinate it from last year since he works for IMSA. info will flow through Milo. standby folks...more info to come.

I'm going up with my dad on Friday morning and camping that night. Friday's racing is the best and camping is soooo much fun!!!!!

I'll try to grab a few spots beside the wall of turn 7. Bring friends and a lot of beer! Something to grill too. I'm taking a grill with me. it's going to be a BLAST!!! Liquidforce, look for me! PSM STi. Or PM me your number and we'll coordinate it.

 

I'll have lots of Yuengling..... Yayz for me!

mmtasty, there will be more than one PSM sti there. You've got to individualize yours a little more. :wavey:

 

I've got tickets and infield parking already. Any word on a corral? Last year I saw it, thought that was great, but guys said I couldn't park in there since all the spots were taken.

 

Hopefully we get the corral or I may end up driving the jeep LOL so I can find parking.

 

Sorry about that. We planned for 20 cars and that was all we were allowed to hold. Turned out that we underestimated it just a bit. I didn't know if there was a penalty for adding more cars. We're working on getting one set up this year too and hopefully it will be bigger.

 

Probably not camping at turn 7 on Friday.

If that doesn't narrow it down, just yell "MARCO!" and I'll yell back "POLO!" until we find each other. 50% of the time that should work every time.

 

I've gone the last 6 or 7 years. It's a great event if you love motorsports and cars in general. Bring your cameras you will see alot of bad a$$ cars everywhere that you don't see day to day. I will definately be there one of the 3 days. Depends on work but what ever day i'm not working I will be there.

and i DO own you a few beers for the ride to my car last year, bro. i'm planning on camping in-field if my Pops doesn't come up again. there'll be about 10-15 of us.

i picked up a sixer of Leinenkugel Oktoberfest @ Kroger the other day....pretty good!

 

I might be volunteering with the SCCA at during the weekend. I'll come look for you guys when I'm on break.

I'll be camping between turn 6 and 7 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

 

I'll definitively be there all day Friday but I don't know if I want to stay there all day Saturday and go to work that night at 11pm or that day off as well to stay at RA all day.

eh, unfortunately its outa my budget

 

I've never been, so I'm pretty clueless about parking, etc. What is recommended to bring (chairs, beer, food, etc) ?

I'd love to meet up with someone that's been there before that I could hang out with

 

Bring it all!!

beer food chairs. Make sure your wearing some comfortable shoes to. You will be walking a lot unless you brought a golf cart or ATV.
