I just purchased a cobb accessport v2 for my 05 wrx and i cant wait to flash stage 1. ive heard that it makes the car smoother and increases power just a bit. my ultimate goal is stage 2 but ive got some saving up to do before that. still very excited and CANT WAIT for it to get here!!!! :wiggle:
congrats man, i have v2. also, and its nice. about the only thing i can say for it is they should make a clip for it to mount in the car. but i hear that a few people are using cell phone clips that tie in to the a/c vent. cant say i do tho. and the guys at Cobb say they are working on a new center gauge piece that will hold it in right to the side, in the plastic around the instruments. -William...

Yes you would prety much be screwed. Youd have to go through alot of trouble to unmarry it and the other person wouldnt be able to use it until done so I would think. But stage one is pretty cool. It put down 202 whp on the dyno day, I understand thats about 30 more than stock? Stage 2 is really nice though.
FINALLY after 5 long days i got my accessport! flashed stage 1 cause im stock (for now) and you can feel the difference! car feels much smoother in the way the power is delivered. its supposed to be peaking at 14.7 psi but this morning it was cooler out and my 05 wrx held 15 psi. great buy, worth what i payed for it and more, im buying a dp and flashing stage 2
cool, sounds great, good to hear you liking it so far. if your dp turns to run you to much, i know i didnt get the best out there, but i went to ebay for a complete system, up down and cat back, but with no cats. S.S. tuned it to about 240 + whp and I think for the money the exhaust is running pretty good. that kit was only like 200 bucks too. the only thinkg i had to do to complete the install was grind a little of the flex connect on the up pipe to go around the head. -William... p.s. i hear there (Cobb) will be launching there new software which includes mpg display. sounds good, talked to them today about it, next month or so.
nice, im running the economy map for now, trying to see if theres really a difference, but so far i dont see it
sweet man, I remember S.S. saying that when he tuned my car it would get better gas mileage over the economy map, or any map for that if I remember correctly. if you want to see the exhaust on my car just go here, there are a couple decent pics of it. http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12998 it has the 4" bell mouth that makes the car work out well also, and full 3" system, catless. after seeing what it did on the dyno, and what i paid for it, and cant see paying some of the prices out there for exhaust systems. they get to high to regulate the difference of about $$$500$$$. thats alot of money when you might only get 30+ hp out of it. o yeah, and the sound, but mine sounds great. -William...
