So my wife has a horse show this weekend at the Chateaus Elan and we decided to go eat at PF Changs at the mall of georgia. While waiting out front some ricer drives by in an Crystal Grey 05 Sti reving his motor making BOV sounds.



You sir are an idiot.... who puts a BOV on a bone stock car, then drives around the mall reving your car so you can make cool BOV noises like the fast and the furious. Do all of us a favor and run it into a tree.

I have one... But I have an excuse When doing my exhaust, I took the tmic and bypass valve off, and when i reinstalled the the bypass valve, one of the ears cracked and broke off. So my g/f(at the time) bought a ssq foy my birthday... Can't beat free. I'd really like to make it 100% recirc, but I'd have to do some ghetto engineering to make it work

 

why'd you take off your tmic for exhaust install?

 

Yeah, I had some nuts that were frozen on the back side of it, and I ended up having to break them and replace the studs.

 

why not?

it only takes 30 seconds to take off/60 or less to reinstall, and makes ofr heatsheild/DP install much easier.

 

ah, got it. Ive never removed my IC and I didnt have a hard time getting at the bolts for the DP install. My cobb heatshield was a slight bitch to put on, perhaps I should have pulled the IC off for that. I'll keep that in mind when I take the td04 out : )

as circumstance would have it, i bumped into this very guy coming home from my dad's last night by the MOG.

we ended up at a red light and here's how the discussion went, i'll refer to him as BOV....

BOV: hey man, that's a beautiful car
