nopi is in town so i'm not going either...ha..anyone know stock looking silver wrx wagon that has sticker "you just got beat by a wagon"..was riding in bros SRT8 jeep license plate reads "SRT8UUP"...wagon w/ sticker didnt seem to want to play..
i dont care what anybody says about nopi, Rome and I had a blast. we watched the drifting pretty much the whole time, saw a little of the bikini contest, and saw a few smokin hot chicks walking around. we missed the booty shaking contest but we opted to watch battleground drift instead, so i guess we made the correct choice.
You know, there are alot of haters on the board, but all in all, Nopi is usually pretty cool. Yes, there is an insane amount of rice, but there are also alot of very well done up cars. It is the closest most of us can get to a SEMA type show. I don't mock anyone for going, and wish I would have gone up Saturday at least, just to check it out. Glad you guys had fun.
me too dude...it was fun while it lasted. my 'date' sucked, she made me watch the entire hydraulics show (shoot me in the head) and then wanted to leave ~3:00...sorry I didnt hang very long. I made up for it w/ a better date w/ a nicer and much hotter girl that night, haha:rofl:
I was there but not my car. Nitro your pics don't do your car any justice! BTW Nopi was better than last year. The Drift event was ten fold MUCH MUCH better than last years! I got toasted and sunburnt all to hell. Oh well I was buzzing the entire time off some good ol brew! Oh and I scored a killer CF hood which is on the car now. Pics tomorrow after I peel the ricer stickers off it.

I had a ton of fun there and im glad i got to meet some of ya on saturday at the varsity. that was my first time meeting with any of ya'll and riding to nopi was great. Thanks Nitro and Schneid for being so cool and letting me hang with ya.
Carlos, it was nice meetin ya to, as well as Robert (Im pretty sure I remembered that right). I was a lot more lame than I wanted to be with my hard-to-please date, I would have hung out with you guys all day if I could have shed the 120 lb. ankletssh: I'm sure I'll run into you again
