Legacy Ride and Grill - September 30, 2007 12:00p.m.

Well this started off as a get together for us legacy owners, but ive talked to a few people who told me........"well i dont have a legacy"....lol. So im gonna open up the doors for everyone to come. We just gonna meet up have fun, spirited drive, and eat some food. Those who up for just post up and let me know. Theres 8 or so of us now that are going. Also if you willing to bring any food item as well lemme know, so i can see whos bringing wat.

Ok so here are the official plans for The ride and grill.

September 30, 2007 12:00p.m.

1. Meet up as a group. The meeting spot will be at the Best Buy parking lot at Northpoint Mall, being its the furthest north "city" spot. If you dont know where it is.........Take 400N to exit 9. Make a right off the exit. At the first light make a left. Best buy is directly to your left.
2. cruise to Helen Georgia.
3. Whip out the food! There a couple local spots for grilling in Helen. But there is also a state park thats pretty nice. Unfortunately Im having a brain freeze and cant remember the name of it-lol. But I know exactly where it is. So the choice is up to the group. Local or state park.
4. Cruise/spirited drive on some very fun roads. I will have a map printed for everyone for the roads in case someone needs it for whatever reason. Here is a link and vid of the roads we will be taking. Its just north of where we will be.

*DISCLAIMER* This is not an event/excuse to go out and drive like a retard. Yes spirited driving is welcome, but wreckless driving is not.

So heres what I need.

1. Lemme know if your in or not
2. If any adjustments whether it be time, place, date, etc need to be made. Simply let me know. Lets make this work for everyone.

Once we know these things we can figure who is gonna bring what to eat, and the other small stuff. weaselslegacy If your car is not fixed your more than welcome to ride with me. So who's in?

 

I'll probably be down but I normally forget about events if I plan them this far ahead of time. Its been too long since I've been out to the mountains.

I assume your talkin about Unicoi State park or maybe brasstown bald.

 

Ok guys just touching basis to see if anyone here is actually gonna roll up wit us. Alex i got you down as a definate-lol. Theres roughly 17 of us going at the moment. So if your interested in going just let me know. We trying to finalize everything, so we have everything we need.

i'll try....i'm unemployed and hopefully will still have the scoobie still, but have been wanting to take myself, the car and the fam to mountains (maybe or maybe not at the same time)...i may meet you in helen or whatever but keep us posted (i live in athens and it would be easier for me to meet in helen or wherever, but we'll see). i may see it the wife and kid will come with, so definetly no stupidity.

let me know if there is any interest....i want to go but circumstances may not let me.

who from Gwinnett side is going? We meet up at BP and catch up the Legacy group on hwy.

 

I'll be riding out from gwinnett "scoobaru" and I just went this past sunday..we met at the new starbucks off 316/120 then hoped on 120 to 85 north by discover mills... Not sure if anyone else is addicted to startbucks like myself..lol...if not we can meet at discover mills right by the highway..if interested...

 

Discover sounds good...is it only 3 of us from g-nett? Ne clue on head count so far?

 

not sure who else is coming..hopefully they will read this and let us know i guess...where in Helen are we meeting??

 

Hey I'm thinking about going as well. I live in Gainesville. maybe I can meet ya'll off of Exit 17 off of 400. Hey would it be cool if I took some buddies also? but they drive a Evo and a VR4.

I'm interested. Depends on how hungover I am after Saturday, but I'm going to try and make it.

Ok guys. Looks like we got an issue here with you gwinett peeps-lol. Like FkUiHdCncr said to keep things less complicated its easier to just all meet at best buy. But I do understand that its out of the way for some of the gwinett peeps. I dont know the way from 985 im not sure where it comes out in helen. I know my way and my way is the way im going-lol. But if someone could tell me where it comes out we could just meet yall up there. I know theres a shell gas station just as youre going into town which seems like a good meeting spot. Im open to all ideas. And to those who asked if they could bring their buddies thats totally fine. Like i said before anyone is welcome i just wanna have a good time, meet some new people and be safe.

Thats what i see so far as for who is definately coming. If your not on the list and plan on coming or vice versa please lemme know. I wanna get as close of an accurate head count as i can.

Sti lover gimme a call sunday morning round 12:30 and i can give you the status on where we are on 400 and you guys can join the ride.

 

btw my girls friend is coming with me and my girl and she wants to know if any guys would be kind enough to let her ride with them
