Intake and exhaust. I dont know if you can reflash the ECU but if so that's another cheap HP upgrade.
K, well, I'm gonna throw on an STi exhaust on install day. And intake...what're my options? or rather what would you recommend?
Remove the exhaust at the header? That's cheap!!!! :keke: But seriously, maybe smaller lighter used wheels would be an option?
Borla header, random tech high flow cat, and the STi muffler is more than enough, but a stromung catback is nice for sound. Header/cat nets you about 10~15 hp and the same in TQ. I do not recommend intakes....tho if you do get one, the cheap ebay ones would be the best money spent as anything more than $50 on an intake is a waste as they net zero gain. The ECU's are not flashable at this time. A SuperAFC II would net you about 5 more hp at WOT if tuned correctly.
That's alot of money for a small power change that you may not even notice. I'd focus on making it handle better.
