We got the engine out, so now all I have to do is wait on the clutch to get here, and just throw it all back in. HUGE thanks to Ped, Stephen (Kingwrex), Dana(yngdz), and Joey (Bomjoon) Money shot
CRAZY! When I had to get a new clutch (last year in may), I paid a friend of mine to do it, but we just moved the engine like 2 inches forward. It was still pretty tough to do it but this looks like it'll be a cinch to put in the clutch with all that space!
HOPEFULLY around the first of the week. I'm jsut gonna work on it every afternoon and get as far as I can by myself, and may need someone to help me drop it in
Well, I still have to put it back in, so I'll let you know when its ready to go in Heres a few more: Now do you see why it'd be harder to change it with the engine still in...? Who needs horse power...? :ddirty:
You better be doing something else while the engine is out OTHER than the clutch. Doing it with the engine in is MUCH easier.
just go ahead and do that to mine and we'll swap motors.. you know you want a 2.0 lol. seriously though how long did that take?
ok, car is now done The clutch is much better than stock, but I can't really push it that hard til its broken in. I just have a few small things to do on it tomorrow night. But I drove it home just for shits and giggles Huge THANKS to Stephen (Kingwrex), Ped, Joey (Bomjoon), Dana (Yungdz), and Jerome (tntsfinest)!!!!!!!!!
too late for that... When I had to go to Grady yesterday, I followed the Police escort in the emergency lane doing 120 all the way to midtown (that was fun BTW).
BTW Greg and Bomjoon did you guys smell and see what was going on outside of that house when we were leaving? Strange!
He just got home. They held him over night because he was still bleeding internally, but they got it stopped. He is VERY lucky. I'm about to leave to go to his house now
