Is there a difference between N1 and N2? If I can go, this will be my first AutoX. BTW, the dlbracing site navigation system makes NO sense, can't get to the registration from the home page login, only through outside links
N1 is morning novice, N2 is afternoon novice... if you have problems with DLB let somebody on teh soloatlanta forums know.
No.... if you sign up for N1 in the morning you will get four runs; you may also sign up for TO afternoon and get 4 more additional runs.
What psi should I set my tyres to? I think Will said something like 45psi for them. Also, how badly are they gonna get worn
Well it's probably gonna be pretty bad, they would have a fews months of normal wear and tear left in them, just trying to get an idea of how much this is going to accelerate the process.
you probably wont notice a difference. It's not a track day. PSI is determined by what tires you have. We'll get all that sorted out there. Come find me (198 STU) and I'll help out.
registered, N1 will be fun Subaru Impreza 2.5RS(scooby_snack) Subaru Impreza 2.5i wagon 2005 Corvette Z51 GTI Miata Mazda 3 AUSTIN COPPER(MINI) SALOON Mazda Protege 5 yup, I am ready to get my butt handed to me by the way, i googled 755 Hank Aaron Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30315 (Turner Field) i have no clue which lot is the "green" so some instructions would be appreciated
It's minimal and you won't notice it...trust me. I am still on my original RE070's with 17k on the car and 7 autox events under my belt. I still have tread. If you register in novice, they will provide paper numbers for you which you'll need to display on both sides of the car (e.g. the front doors). I would suggest going out and buying some painters tape that you can find at any Home Depot or Lowes. You can safely remove it without scratching the paint. Heck yeah!!
heck yes!!! that was a good day. There were many a person taking pictures. Where do I go to find those? Obviously they won't be uploaded JUST yet, but....
This was a fun day! My first Auto-X and I didn't wreck or DNF! I was a little to busy trying to figure out what was going on, so I didn't get to meet too many of the other subaru drivers; I'll be at more events though. PS my gf loved it! She wants to drive next time!
Great time folks! Nice seeing some new faces. mmtasty rules STU...I don't count that Evo guy... I had a serious problem with attracting cones to my car. I didn't have one clean run...oh well, it was still a blast and I made up for it in TO in the afternoon. Joey, if it makes you feel better, I came in last in STU, so no worries. Preliminary results up on SoloAtlanta - http://soloatlanta.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3311&hl=
Had a brilliant time, and will most definitely be doing this a hell of alot more! I just can't believe it took me so long to try it out.
:dunno I don't know about that one... I think that's called LUCK. We'll see what happens at the challenge and the last autoX. Had a great time tho! Love hanging out with all of you. :wavey: Mike
Actually though, I was talking to Mere and the timing trailer about your little incident leaving the parking lot. The cones you knocked down are going to be deducted from your time...so, looks like you're in last place. :hs:
Yeah Mike, I reported those cones to our Chief of Timing and Scoring.... j/k Fun time as always, great to see everybody out there! As soon as I get my car sorted out Sweet Pea you are going down....
Coming into the last turn all I saw was a blue wall on one side and people on the other, I didn't even notice most of the cones that I ran over. I need to get a ride-along with some suby drivers next time, so I can learn how to use AWD to my advantage.
No problem, and good job on continuing to improve your times. Come out to the next one and keep it going.
ok, so I went to racelinephotos.com and it won't go to the main page.....you viewing this in IE or FF, Jack?
