My co-driver finally signed up. There should be two more people driving my car in SM from Clemson, so watch out.hnoes:
damn skippy there clemson is gonna sweep stx (either me or clayton (probably not me)), then clemsonscooby or his codriver in ESP, then the other two codrivers in SM
Yeah right! Are you forgetting you have a woman driver on your team?! Good thing for you parallel parking isn't part of the course! You'll probably get lost after the first turn and call your husband for directions....:rofl::rofl:
You're off Team Romper-Stomper mountain biker man...or wait, maybe you were never on it. Loaner, go get your own race team.
I wasn't on it. I don't want to be on a team with a GIRL! Much less one with a girl AND a dude that shaves from head to toe. :wtc: <- you.
Alright so the GF just signed up in the STSL class hnoes::eek3::eek2::grr: I'm already nervous. The things I do for new wheels and tires :naughty:
You should bring her out to the SCCA event next sunday... I'll be more than happy to give some novice instruction, that way she can kick your ass at the subaru challenge! EDIT THIS IS MEREDITH USING BRIAN'S USER NAME
So, Adam does that mean we can take you off the hit list? There has been some down time in eThug lately...and we apologize. Well, actually we don't apologize, it just kinda sounds good. Who's next? Can we please break 90???!?!?!
So I know the the challenge is on the 17th but is there and thing going on before or after (15th or 18th) I.E. a g2g on the 15th I need to make sure I get all my days lined up.
Hello there. I am interested in registering for this but am such a rookie, I am not sure if it will even be fun. After looking at the website, it seems like if you register and pay, you get to autocross (which I have never done before) neither do I have any mods on the car which will make me remotely competitive. Based on everybody's experience here, what other activities goes on here? Any advice before I decide on registering and paying the $35?
I am a complete autox n00b....never done it before. my car is currently not modded to be competitive in the class it is assigned in. basically, I am just going out there to have some fun with some fellow suby people, and to drive the car in a fun, but safe, environment. There are a bunch of others in the same boat as the two of us. if you have any more questions, just post up!
what.... if you are going to an autox to be competitive than you shouldn't go at all. Autox is pure fun and if you are planning to go out there and trophy your first time, good luck (actually SCCA Speed GT pro driver Randy Probst did back when he starting autox)! Autox is a motorsport inwhich it's like 70% driver and 25% tires and 5% car/mods. This event for subaru owners to learn their cars limits, have fun and meet other subaru fanboys/girls. On top of the price for the autox you are fed lunch, get subaru freebies and there are ton of door prizes.
