I couldn't agree more. The complete failure of the WRX and the EVO to sell in the rest of the world totally give away that a turbo AWD focus would fail in the global market. Luckily Ford is doing great with their current business model, so its best that they not add anything new or different. I would hate for them to shake up their current success

It amazes me that Ford can't take a look around and see what sells today. The old argument for not bringing the RS to the states was that it would cannibalize mustang sales if it was too high performing. It was stupid, baseless argument then, and its even more so now. I actually liked my SVT Focus, but it was an entry level car at best, certainly no real competitor to the WRX/RSX/SRT 4 at the time...

ford has built more successful cars for the WRC than any other company in the history of the WRC, i simply don't understand why we get their "shit" products here.

Simple, the majority of Americans want a cheap, reliable Taurus with more cup-holders. And an engine scaled to match current gas prices. I wonder if they could get an AWD into a Mustang though. ;)

I would seriously consider buying an RS focus, I have always thought the SVT was nice, just kind of lacked a nut sack.

I have an extendable one in the RS and a funky one inside the arm rest. Cup holders are for pussys and Romanians anyway.
