I will be there! Hoping to have the suby out there... If so it will be the first time suby's seen fun like that in a while.
You do realize that your first event is the same weekend as the SCCA Sediv Finale and since you do need 4 events to win you've eliminated all serious autoxers in the southeast? Also what's with the "time attack" style classes, there is no break down for r-comps versus street tire?
The classing is meant to group cars of similar potential together. The fact that it is similar to "time attack" classing is purely coincidental. It is unfortunate that our first date conflicts with the Sediv finale, but we are hoping that most people will come to the events that they are able to to enjoy some winter fun. Scheduling late in the year usually puts us up against limited date availability, so we made the best of what we could get. We hope to see you there!
Having three classes really doesn't put together cars of the same potential. Your classing for example would put a miata with street tires in the same class as a Z06 with hooisers or a stock Sti versus "stompy". If you guys are serious about attracting the local SCCA solo people why don't you make the series 3 out of 4? Our local SCCA solo series is best 7 out 10 so that people can still be active in their points even when they may miss a few events.
