a few nights ago in dublin,ga i met a guy with a red 93 honda civic si hatchback..HUGE body kit,and like 18inch chrome wheels on it..looked very very rice..guy drove by me and a few of my friends and we were laughing at it..the guy seen what we were doing and came over to talk crap to us because i was riding in my friends 93 si thats fast for what it is..the guy tells us that it was dyno'd at over 400whp and he has ran it 208mph..his ricey civic was a single cam d16 vtec with a bolt-on greddy turbo kit on it..prolly 200whp at the most..i lmao at him and once he realized who i was and what i drove he wasnt talking crap anymore..i continued to mess with him and told him my car has only a little over 300whp and will not get anywhere close to 200 mph..he thought i was lying and said that a stock sti will do over 200 because they have porsche "BOSHER" engines..lol..and said that he heard mine had a lot of stuff done to it and it would probably run over 270mph..i wish my car could outrun the veyron..lol..its funny to me how some people can be so into a car to not know anything about other cars..

 

maybe in his mind he was thinking Kilometers LOL

YESTERDAY AT STARBUCKS WHILE I WAS TAKING THE GARBAGE OUT:

94 Civic with Pep Boys "V6" and "Turbo" emblems among other tasteless mods.

Me: "Hey man, that got a V6?"
Owner: "Yeah man."
Me: "You do the swap out of an Accord?"
Owner: "Nah man I bought it like this."

Then I decided to really have some fun.

Me: "Cool, cool. What kind of Turbo setup you runnin'?"
Owner: ...
Me: "I mean, pretty nice if you're running it without an intercooler. How'd you manage?"
Owner: "a what?"
Me: "Intercooler. So the whole thing doesn't explode when you boost, you know?"
Owner: "Aw yeah man I didn't hear you right, s'all."
Me: "No worries. So what kind of turbo is it?"
Owner: ...

his white background dials says 270 but cant read if it was kmh or mph

maybe he believes if the dial says it it must be what he can reach

 

He probably did mean kph. 270 km/h is 167mph. 208 km/h is like 125mph. Not hard to imagine.

Or maybe he's just a total moron?

 

I'm voting total moron! Unless your not from the US or drive an actual JDM car why would you possibally use kph?

 

If im not mistake the stock STi top speed is 154mph
