Yes... the siegel has not blessed my car yet.... however I will going up to Topspeed for a tune next week! No more OTS maps for me....
just talked with will, i've put almost 100mi on the car since yesterday and no oil consumption, smoke, or other things. but i will get another compression test just to be sure. just for some back-story on how i think this started... i've been checking my oil and topping off on an incline (which i figured out yesterday is a bad idea when i saw just how different the reading was when level). i have a feeling that i overfilled the oil (it was a touch over F on the incline). combine that with heat expansion and several WOT pulls and i think it adds up more to a fouled pcv, and less a blown ring-land. so i'm hoping this is me making a dumbass mistake (certainly not the first) and not the motor kneeling for seppuku. i'm pretty certain this has nothing to do with scott's tune.
compression test update okay just got back from SOG plugs were pulled are completely clean compression test was 140-145 across all cylinders still have had no more oil consumption since pcv change. am i missing something? otherwise, chalk one up for dumbassery.
