i've kind of stuck with Kenwood Excelon line with Nakamichi and Orion amps. That's what I had on my altima. Right now I'm stock 06 limited stereo. The boxer rumble and the greddy makes beautiful music together.

I'm on stock 05+ Impreza speakers, add-on SUBARU subwoofer...and I'll be going back to the 2007 OE MP3 headunit.

The 08 'Impreza' with the upgraded sound system has KICK ASS Kenwood speakers that I'll be looking into purchasing soon.

*Edit: Parts catalog says Foster or Clarion speakers...I remember the training stuff saying Kenwood...maybe that was the headunit/sat/DVD system. oh well.*

Otherwise, I used to be heavy into Home Theater stuff...Bose was my speaker choice, Onkyo the receiver of choice. Others I dont remember.

i still love car audio, in fact i'm about re-overhaul mine. i'm still a fan of old school soundstream reference and the SPL series.

I'm old, have a daughter and still have my thump in the trunk. :D

Alpine, MB Quarts, JL DVC Sub, PPI AMP.

Took the family out this Sunday and the baby was bouncing her head to PVD. :p

I looked back in the mirror and lol'd!

Still love car audio but I do it for a living so I grew out of putting it in my own ride. Alpine head units are the shiznit though. :naughty:

I'm rocking an old Alpine 9813 and its been great for the last 6 years or so but is now starting to glitch up on occasion. Otherwise I'm on stock speakers, I've spent money elsewhere on the car. One of these days I'll get around to a soundsystem but after I'm happy with how the car goes, turns, and brakes.

    Pioneer FTW

Ive been using Pioneer stuff since I got in to car audio. Right now in the 92x there is a Pioneer 6.5 inch DVD
player and one 12 inch pioneer premier speaker which is pretty much bulletproof. The STI will prob never see anything that serious other than a nice head unit and mids and highs

I have used it all in the past. From Sony Mobile ES, Pioneer Premier, to the world famous Alpine 7909. I am currently running a JL 300/4 amp, JL 10W3V3, DLS UP6 Fronts, and soon to be installed Alpine 9887 HU. I am running on the stock 06 Legacy MP3 HU with a navone LOC right now. Sounds great but wanted the ipod capabilities and some way to tweak the TA a little. Almost went back to Pioneer but have read great reviews of the new Alpine 9887 so I went with it.

They will fit if you have the money to make them fit:)

Seriously though, I ahve seen people put huge speakers in Suby's with right amount of spacers and extended door panel plugs.

EDIT: swapped my Kickers out for Infinity speakers today.

    The bottom line:

...anyone want a pair of Kicker KS65s?
