This is entirely possible. I need to check to make sure we will have the tech inspection stickers.

Nevertheless, if you have your car prepared to these guidelines for the Tech inspection on Saturday morning, you will be fine. Just don't show up with a car or trunk full of junk/trash/etc.

Also make sure that your car is not missing any lugnuts, or low on brake fluid.

 

Thanks, I have no clue what to expect. I have never done this before. What do I need to bring on Sat besides a chair? What do I do about numbers?

Subaru will be providing numbers for you, it's suggested to buy some magnetic sheeting at michaels or mc-master carr.

Things you should bring:
Chair
Raincoat or umbrella in case of rain (note please no red umbrellas)
Sunscreen
Air gauge
Helmet (if you don't have one, the region has loaners)
Small cooler of water or gatorade (i think subaru might be providing some beverages)
Tarp or Small rubbermaid box to protect any items from rain

 

If we're doing tech on Friday, do we have to do tire swaps?

Friday Night at SOG

We will be doing registration and tech inspection at SOG on Friday evening. We will send out an email blast to all registered participants tonight with details and times for the Friday night and Saturday event activities.

I will try to be there, along with my co-driver. We're coming from Kentucky, so it's a bit of a drive We may not make it by 6, but we definitely plan on heading there first.

So, what's the story with these numbers? I've done a few AutoXs with car clubs, and this is the first time I've heard so many suggestions that I buy a magnetic sheet. Are these numbers gonna score my paint job? Previously, the numbers were on windows.
