Anybody else been hit on because they owned a wrx? Or maybe not just because they own one, but partially. I just left Hooters not long ago and I walked by a waitress and she started talking to me asking if I drove a wrx blah blah blah. She wasn't even my waitress. I was quite suprised the girl remembered me because I had absolutely no recognition of who she was. Just wondering if this has happened to anybody else..?
Yes, and it is the biggest regret to this day that I didn't do something about it. I was leaving the public library once back in high school. This extremely attractive girl was getting into her car right next to mine. She complemented me on the car (this was back in 03 right after I got mine), saying that her dad actually raced them and had a rhd one. I could have so easly gotten her number, but at the time I was dating someone else and just didn't. Biggest mistake of my life The girl was smoking and dug my ride.
I've never been directly hit on because of my car but I've turned quite a few girls into subaru lovers. You know you've won them over when they start telling you about the ones they see throughout their day. If any of them come your way, you can thank me later.

exactly, usually they touch you too (brush up against you, put their hand on yours, etc). its called making money. they are trained to hit on their customers, raises tips. but yeah, usually when a girl asked me what i drove and i told her a WRX, she would say " a what?!?!"
usually guys stare at my car .... then wonder why a chick is driving it... then wonder what it is ...
But the Hooters girl was not my waitress, and she was cleaning up because it was closing time. Plus I don't give in to that, I know how they make their money.
It's happened to me a couple of times.. more so 'cause they didn't know what kind of car it was... nice way to break the ice. Plus it's red, which is even more rare. BTW amanda- love your SVX... Wish I could find one, preferably a 96-97..

your cars quicker off the line then both of them and cheaper to mod, plus you have twice as many tires doing the work. bmws are awesome in the corners, my best friend has a 330.. i however think anything with yaw control = lose
I wouldn't feel like a pussy, I almost bought an E36 M3 but decided the money was better spent on a WRX. I pay everything myself, but props to the people with families here cause I'm not that good yet. I didn't want it to go anywhere, well maybe a little, but things at home with the female are good.
nope, she got it herself....works for Morgan Stanley and apparently does pretty well. we were discussing payments etc. so no daddy help there side note: roommate bought a laguna blue m3 today. I am officially surrounded by bimmers. roomate=m3, next door neighbor=m6, boss=330ci, boss's boss=m6. lady friend=335, lady friends roommate=325 not to mention the two other 335 verts in our condo complex I see every day. must....resist....kraut....temptation:hsnono:

Well guys mine has picked the ladies up more than a couple of times! Ha who I am I kidding its a wagon! I did have a hot ass gril ask me if I could take her to the hockey party once, but I declined b/c my gf was in the forester behind me.(bad luck only if the gf would haved stayed at home!j/k)
