Well I bought a Perrin kit that recirculates the wastegate dumptube back into the downpipe, so I was wondering how big of a performance hit would there be if it is recirculated back into exhaust stream? If I do convert it to dump to atmosphere the circulate dump tube will need to be cut off and it's v-band flange well be welded onto the dump tube. I am also in need of welding on a bung for o2 sensor. Does anyone know a good local shop that does excellent welding and fabrication? Need a place of intercooler piping made as well, thanks.

I know TopSpeed uses a nice shop that does some pretty badass welds, saw it on a friend's aluminum fuel rail. By the way Trey or Doug or Scott, what's that shop's name:naughty: so besides a shop that's too far north of Atlanta, any other shops you guys would recommend? TIA

I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. If you want a dump to atmosphere, get a shop to
    take care of it.

Give me a call when you get a free minute.

At Horsepower levels below 400hp it won't make much of a diffrence.

I don't like Grand Muffler at all, when did you visit them? I heard they have a new owner and what not.

I went there a year ago with some 300zx downpipes that needed some welding and grinding to smooth out the inner lip, it was a horrible hack job that I could've done at home and was charged $150 for them.

still haven't found a place. Visited couple of muffler shops and their welds are a bit iffy...

Might have to hit up batlground or something, my concern is that major shops don't care for small jobs?

Not sure what area you are in, but there is a place in winder near the track called (I think) Full Throttle machine shop or something to that nature that I know the owner. I know the shop used to be called excalibur and they actually did work for the F-22 Raptor if that tells you anything about their quality.

I'm around Midtown to North Atlanta

I have no problem driving out for quality welds
