Wow thats surprising. I wonder if there was any competition between the SPT products and very similar Prodrive products that caused this.

No its the fact that it was one of the worst run companies in the entire industry. They have horrible...I mean HORRIBLE customer service and they never even brought any of the really good stuff over from Europe.

I'm sure Scott will be happy to back me up on their customer service...actually Mike can probably vouch for it as well.

    +1 ^

i think i was the only person to get an ecu key from them for their wrx stage 3 kit. it is a shame though, they do make some incredible parts and their engineering is second to none.

Yeah, the thing is they will reappear in the U.S. soon I'm sure, Prodrive USA was nothing more than a distribution deal.

+1 on their total disregard for good customer service. I had a few dealings with them in the past with my bugeye Stage 2 and 3 kits, as did Scott. They made some promises they couldn't keep and at the end of the day, I should have gone another route. Oh well, lesson learned.

Nah, there's better stuff out there with better customer support. I say, hasta la vista. :wavey:

There was only one thing from Prodrive that I liked: Round Tip Axleback-Muffler.

    Everything was garbage.

on a slighty related note had they not been so chicken and produced the P2(in the US or anywhere for that matter I realise our version would be more tame without anti lag) they could have made alot of money. i would buy one!

I concur, although aluminum might not have been the best material choice.

Kind of sad to see them go. Thankfully I got the most important bits from them before they closed. Maybe someone else will open up a branch, theres obviously demand.

What's really surprising is that no one is going to even notice from what I've seen anyway.

Prodrive doesn't offer nearly enough for our cars and what they do offer is expensive anyway.
