    I also heard on National Public Raiodio that Subaru plants does not produce any material that goes into the landfill. All materials are either re-used or burned for electricity

    yep that too...see we don't need a hybrid model..we are green enough..lol

    Hybrids aren't as green as they appear, the vehicle produces far less pollution, but producing the batteries for the vehicle is much more harmful to the environment than producing a standard gasoline vehicle. Sorry not trying to hijack this thread, but I thought it was relevant because Subaru's factories are so green.

    SUBARU is truly an Environmentally friendly company.

    Now if they could get each dealership to do the same...
