So after talking with a friend tonight he was asking me how much to build an exact twin of my car. I was unable to answer this question as I have never sat down and totaled up an exact amount... that is till now. Here is a quick break down of how the car will sit in a few weeks. It however doesn't include a the old items that I have bought and then replaced. It also is mainly for parts only as I did the entire labor on the car myself. I think I'm somewhere around 20k on top of the price of the car that I paid for it car - 16k ALL parts and labor ever done to her...~$20k.... I want my STi!
yaaaaaaa about that. lol...don't be scaring me like that as most of my $ on aftermarket stuff will be through u all..lol..u guys already did my suspension a few weeks ago!
Car $$$ is making me consider going back to motorcycle racing. I've kept all my receipts and made a spreadsheet of everything with parts & labor kept separate. Maintenance from tracking the car has been more than the cost of upgrades. Did mention I just replaced both front rotors, 4th set of front pads, left rear wheel bearing and hub and all the spark plugs? I could've bought another motorcycle for the cost.
I think my calculations were sitting at about $13K spent on mods, not including labor, or the cost of the car. Thinking back, that would have been a nice downpayment on a house, or since I had a downpayment, that could have been the difference in me getting a place with a garage.

I had $18,000 in my old 2JZ 240sx, thats $17500 in a $500 car My old CRX had about $10,000 in it, an i bought it for $150
I've spent too much but the car is how it should have come from the factory now. 63K for a car that'll outrun cars costing twice as much is not a bad deal.
