passed 90k

hit 90,000 miles the other night, just happened to be doing 90 at the time....

 

wow..that is awesome...now for another 90! hope it keeps running strong for ya!

 

i just hit 100,000 last weekend.

 

about to hit 152,000 in my Honda

 

good rule of thumb in a car you like is to NOT change the belt. Save that $1000 towards a new engine. Run it till it dies then go better! :naughty::naughty::naughty:

 

No problems yet, but timing belt is at 110k isnt it?


and tasty... how much would an engine cost? and then how much to put it in? wouldn't that come out to around 5k?

 

well if we are all posting miles....just hit 20k....purchased back in either june or july of 07..

I would much rather replace a timing belt than replace a motor...imo.

Anyways, I am going to engine swap the Legacy Wagon at some point, so I'll get experience in doing it myself before I try it in the daily driven WRX.

$1000 for a timing belt job doesn't bother me if thats all I've had to do to in in 100,000 miles.

 

I know where you can get a timing belt done for a lot less

Yeah, I just got over 90K as well. Hmm, I have a 02 and you have an 04... do you commute a lot, or just cruise a lot?
