good rule of thumb in a car you like is to NOT change the belt. Save that $1000 towards a new engine. Run it till it dies then go better! :naughty::naughty::naughty:
No problems yet, but timing belt is at 110k isnt it? and tasty... how much would an engine cost? and then how much to put it in? wouldn't that come out to around 5k?
rrr? i don't understand your math. ;p Anyways, I am going to engine swap the Legacy Wagon at some point, so I'll get experience in doing it myself before I try it in the daily driven WRX. $1000 for a timing belt job doesn't bother me if thats all I've had to do to in in 100,000 miles.
yeah, your garage!!! I'm just saying... I'd rather just use it as an excuse to upgrade. "Honey! my car died... shit... i guess I'll just have to fix it... I hate this.. Will can give me a good deal... "
Yeah, I just got over 90K as well. Hmm, I have a 02 and you have an 04... do you commute a lot, or just cruise a lot?
