To increase performance/braking power from the rotor, you would need bigger rotors; thicker and larger diameter. I don't know of any way to do this with stock calipers, but I could be wrong. You could add vented rotors in the rear to help with brake fade, but I'm only saying that because I have some for sale: http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16129&highlight=brake

I'll let someone else recommend brake pads, I'm still on stockers!

And just stay away from cross-drilled rotors.

stock rotors are fine. or whatever the cheapest one you can find it.

STAY AWAY from cross drilled rotors. Slotted clean the pads off from glazing, but they will eat pads up FAST. Blanks are best.

Get some Carbotech XP10 front pads, XP8 rears, ATE super blue and some SS lines. Done.

Blank rotors, HP+ pads, SS lines and Super Blue fluid. The XP12s and XP10s are probably a bit much for a daily driver.

HP plus.... if you buy the HPS pads and go to little talledega the pad will not last. However the plus pads are loud adn will generate a good amount of brake dust. Unless you will be turning your car into a TT car or something I don't see teh need to update the rotors. Good fluid, good SS lines, and a good pad will go a along way.

^^For STi the HPS suck balls.

The HPS for the normal WRX are actually QUITE tough.

We had them on Ashley's WRX at tally and between me and her, the car was on track pretty much all day with no problems after the first heat cycle.

blanks and HP+, I have had all the different combo's at TGP and all fade even with ATE. Just get used to pumping the pedal or running off the track;)

i bought my hp+ at pep boys...very good price too. they carry both hps and hp plus.

I'm running stock rotors and hp+ with SS lines, i have yet to get into the mtns with the pads so i'm not sure on fade resistance...i've heard mixed reviews on that.

Harrison Motorsports said they can get them in a day. They do not stock them for Subaru's. They also have the fluid in stock.

I just put my HP+ pads on today and i beded them in per the instructions and i notice a burning like smell. Is that just from being new? I also installed new rotors and thought it might be some of the machining residue on them.

    Any ideas?
