Over 370 BMWs bound for New Jersey port damaged in shipping.... http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/14/over-370-bmws-bound-for-new-jersey-port-damaged-in-shipping/
I wonder if there is any legal documentation they would have to provide, saying the car was damaged in shipping, repaired, and now you are about to buy it.
very scary..especially for something that expensive... if i paid 80k+ for a car..that bitch have a spec of dust on it I'm sending it back.. I'm sure they will have to provide legal documentation..teeny tiny legal mumbo jumbo on the bottom of a page some where.."and sir this just specifies we are ripping you off tremendously on your what you thought was brand new undamaged BMW... Just sign here..thaaaaaaanks"
Well, not all of them are being repaired. Some will be scraped. Still I doubt BMW will sell a new M3 with a weakened frame so if something seriously wrong happened I would expect them to just melt down the metal bits. If all they had to do was replace a fender with a new one I wouldn't be too unhappy about buying one.
I am not entirely sure BMW would try to pull a fast one like that. Sucks, though when this happens. I want CSL stuff!
bwhaha...man I'm crying..that is a funny pic...probably also that much more funny cuz I'm on 4 hrs of sleep! ...man that cracks me up!
