I'm not sure what the appropriate forum for this is, but does the fact that either my car or heater has started to smell just like a hot glue gun mean anything to anyone?

are you sure that its not any of the usual suspects like brakes or clutch? I know my clutch was pretty smelly until I learned how to use it right.

Doesn't smell like any brake/clutch i've smelt before. I'm starting to think its just something in my heater.

Maybe an animal crawled into your engine bay to get out of the cold? lol

My car smells too, I think it's mildewed and I plan on hitting it with a steam cleaner

maybe a hot glue gun crawled into your heater and died

I'll be damned... thats what that extension cord hanging out of my scoop was. And don't worry, it wasn't dead, just unplugged.

I heard of a guy using something like Lysol to spray into the vents and clear out the smell of mildew. I heard about this on CarTalk, sooo...... take it with a grain of salt
