Looking to get a new turbo like an 18G or 20g. But I hear an 18g just falls on its face in higher rpms. I wanna try to keep full boost around 3500-4000 any suggestions
I want to try for 400 without meth or switching to a fmic can it be done

You are going to need something bigger than a 20G for 400 at the wheels.

A 20G will net you about 350 at the wheels with all the supporting mods.

You gotta be BIG to make 400whp on 93. Like FP Red or big 30R / small 35R... Green / SZ49 with FMIC and everything should go 385, maybe a magic pass at 395, but not consistently... Maybe the new HTA FPGreen would be close...

You could get 400 out of a 20g if you were running c16.

Don't fear the meth. It really isn'ty a bad option unless you spend a lot of your time on a track with turns.

Ok i was just looking at the turbo list they have on nasioc and for the 20g it says 330-440whp with supporting mods so i guess they mean Meth. Also when does the new HTA FP Green come out I'd probably go with that since its supposed to spool quicker than the previous one.

sell your car and buy a corvette, and you can enjoy 400hp stock!

    ;)

or buy an evo and easily obtain 400hp with the pimptastic 4g63 and it's lust for mods

Or get the C6 Z06 and enjoy 500hp in stock form.

Any turbo bigger than stock will require injectors and fuel pump...

    This is my suggestion:

    GT35r .63ar
    injectors
    Spearco TMIC
Accessport w/ Topspeed tune of course
    Header
    fuel pump

Should make an easy 400hp on pumpgas, without having to stress the motor much. I have done a ton of these setups for customers all of which have been driving them daily for over 20k miles. So no worries, you won't be our guinea pig.

here is a graph of the gt35r setup I recommend at 17psi pumpgas and 22psi (100oct).

GT35R is $1300 SHIPPED from me.

The UR Rotated kit is $3600 which comes with the 35R or 30R, uppipe,44mm wastegate, DOwnpipe, Dumptube.

after that you would still need injectors and some sort of intercooler system whether its top mount or not.

At that point you have to decide if you want a better Turbo manifold or not.

We can do the tune an install/parts sales, so if you need anything email
    Mike@batlground.com

Look for our 35R STI numbers next week

Don't think the 3 bolt header-to-uppipe connection is going to work with anything rotated...
