ok so we have had a freaking night!

Zach was on his way home and some dude decided he wasn't going to stop and cause a 5 car pile up, in which the WRX got rear ended and a good friend of our family lost their car, the driver that caused the accident is uninsured. There inst alot of damage to the WRX but the back bumper will need to be repainted at some point, i guess i haven't seen the car yet. Does anyone know a good paint shop that does good work? location isnt a priority.

I have a few cards for shops that Jill gave me but i don't know if we want to use those. We also have a multishield policy on the car through Subaru, but i don't know if it covers this.

(zach will prolly update more when he gets home, i wasn't there so i dont know the details)

D&D customs in forest park have some of the best painters in GA, imo. Sorry to hear about the accident :( hope everyone is ok.

I'm glad y'all are okay. We used Gwinnett Collision for almost everything at SoG and I was always thrilled with his work. They are also the only place that I've ever let work on our personal cars. Marty (the owner of GC) is a great guy and takes incredible care of his customers. He can do everything from frame straightening to pin-striping (and of course the normal body-work and painting in between ;) )

Thanks for all the help guys. I thought i had pictures on my phone but didnt save them right... spend almost a week strait away from the wife and i am on my way home for the day and a half i have off before i head out of state again and end up in the pileup on the east west connector. We were all stopped and the guy plowed into car#4 at 60mph and it chain reacted up to me for a total of 5 cars. . I heard the 1st collision saw the second and tried to move but it was too late and i got hit just hard enough to bounce me around some. wrx just needs some touch up paint. I am ok right now but i am sure i will be feeling it in the morning

if your more on the west side, Magnum collision did an AMAZING job on my '02 WRX. i would highly recommend them to anyone needing body/paint work. 90% of their clientel are BMWs (global imports does ALL their work there), Shelbys, Mercedes, Lotus', Ferrari's, etc. beautiful work and great people.

they are located off of HWY 41 about a mile and half south of barrett parkway.

That sucks that the guy is uninsured and your car got injured.

Just remember not to take it to Bill Heard for paint. :pssh:

+1, the only place i have taken any of my cars including the STi, he does great work but it is a little pricey if you are paying out of your pocket, but if insurance is payin, let them take care of it!

I strongly suggest Artcraft, they repaired my door and did exceptional work. They are also a sponsor of WRXatlanta!

My girl's car is up there right now getting worked on, I'll let you all know how it turns out when she gets it back. They had a good operation up there when we dropped the car off.
