So a friend of mine with a Chrysler Sebring messed up his engine. The Chrysler dealership quoted him 5k for a new motor + install. I can pick up the replacement motor for about a grand on ebay but I don't have the time to undertake the swap myself. I figure it shouldn't be too bad considering it will literally be a like for like swap. Have you got any recommendations on where I could get good work without paying massive stealership prices?

Since its a straight swap I'll do it for 500.

Ordering process, he got the car back from the garage after confirming it needed swapping for the second time. Have you got any places you know sell good motors or should I rely on one of the powersellers on ebay? Also found out it's a 2.7l 6 cylinder for definite.

You are on your own when it comes to sourcing a domestic motor.
