Looking For Tips, +19psi??

Im Now Busting 19 Psi. Has Anybody Busted 21 Or 22 On A Vf39?

ya..im running about 20.5 right now..my car's previous owner ran like 23 i think on meth with a lot more mods than i have now...haha

 

cool thanks. i think im going with 22psi with a avcr II i renctly bought. i think it can take it since it is running rich after installing the fmic.

 

im using the accessport v2 now. stage2 93 octane at LWG duty cycles.

 

yea..you should get some sort of ems..im runing an ecutek ss protune

 

I think a boost controller may help if you want to go 20+

 

Also, isn't anything above about 18-19 outside of the efficiency range of the stock turbos, TD04 or VF39? I think at that point you really aren't gaining anything. All you would be doing is destroying the life of the turbo.

 

with meth they are efficient up to about 24psi, maybe a bit more but that is what my vf39 was bustin.

 

vf39's keep making more power but its just not as effective as that ammount of boost would be on a bigger turbo
