After seeing these, the fact that subaru only released a 5 door STI in 08 makes me sad. To me this looks more the part.





I understand the 5 door will be more competitive in the WRC, but come on....that looks more like an STI than the one we got.

I like it. The fenders don't have the flares like the STi, but since I'm guessing they just used the WRX sedan to model this, they would be missing. I think with the flares it would look better than the hatchback. Although I still feel like it's kind of missing something sporty about it.

 

i kinda like the 5 door better...the rear end is just too much like a corolla and to add a big wing on it only makes it more rice like.

It's lighter weight (by like 200lbs or something crazy) and physically smaller. Apparently this makes it easier to fling through norwegian forests at 150 km/h. :dunno

 

I think it mostly has to do with the front and rear overhang.

if SoA does bring a STI sedan over here, i hope it is the legacy STI. if a sedan version of the impreza sti were to be made, that would cut to close to the legacy GT sales, but that is just my opinion...
