my throwout bearing is makin a little bit of noise. you can hear it at idle very little and its pretty noticable when going in 1st or 2nd and you let off to slow down for a corner or something along those lines. when letting off it sounds like a toy car a little bit.

ACT street clutch and lightened flywheel.

is this normal for the setup or am i about to break something?

does it make noise with the clutch pressed and released?

if it only makes noise when there is load then its the front diff. ha, TRUST me on this one. I was told by two shops it was just the throwout bearing making noise, even though Topspeed had recently replaced the clutch. Needless to say SOG tore it down and were buried by little shiny particles of differential.

but if your sure its the throwout then it should be fine, but i would still get it fixed/replaced to be safe

when they changed the clutch i had them also change the diff oil in everything. i think if it would've been the front diff they would've seen something come out in the oil when changed. (clutch has only 300 miles)
