I'd ask SS or Doug at TS.....i'm pretty sure it has to lock in 4th for you to get the right numbers....
The numbers only vary a little bit from gear to gear, but the spool will be faster in 3rd or 4th than it will in 2nd.
You will be able to hold 3rd to 112mph according to the manual. This will prevent the car from shifting into overdrive as it will in D ) Seems like putting in 3rd kills the overdrive
sounds like it can be done.....here's a thread i found on clubwrx http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?t=159312
My M3 has a dyno mode, can we enable it? 1. Allow car to warm up 2. Strap car on Dyno 3. Start car, push DSC once so light is illuminated 4. Run Car to 6k in gear 5. Shut engine off but do not remove key, go to position 1 with key 6. Turn key to position 2 7. Press DSC button for 20 seconds 8. Release DSC 9. Start car by turning key from postion 2 ( the same place you left it from step 6) starting postion 3 10. Press sport button and begin to dyno car
Please paypal $45.00 (includes fees, lunch, etc) to events@wrxatlanta.com and I will add you to the list of paid registrants
I just can't really justify spending the money right now. Things may change in the next few days, so I'll let you know, because I would like to get some numbers with the exhaust. I'm curious.
Trying to save my pennies for a new transmission. I don't expect the stock 5mt to take the power for too long. It certainly won't last on a dyno.
