Gary Venzant at SOG

I bought a 2008 STI from Gary Venzant at SOG last Saturday. He was great. He was knowledgable, let me and my wife test drive several cars and did not play games.

He was willing to deal and gave me a fair price on my old car (2001 RS2.5) as a trade in.

I highly recommend him.

your RS, was it an SRP coupe?

 

I hate to say it, but I'm not sure what an SRP coupe is. It was a 2001 Sedona Red RS2.5 with silver "checkered flags" on the rear quarter panels.

That's it. It was a great car. The only problems I ever had were the front wheel bearings, which were replaced under warrenty. If Gary had not been so good, I would have been happy to keep driving it.

Haha welcome to the site man. I do wish you had joined earlier though so we (I) could have possibly talked you into just doing an STi drive train swap on your 2001

 

Awesome, I really like the 08 STIs. Would love to be able to afford one as a daily driver!

 

I bought mine from GV too.
BTW,
I have yet to see another 08 STI on the road, except for the blue one that I saw a week before I bought mine.

Where are all you guys hiding?

 

We need pics! And, I've also never seen one in person.... guess I could just go to Classic 1 minute away from my house...

Great guy, when i knew i wouldnt be able to find the sti I wanted at SOG, he gave me tips for what to look for, to know if the car had been previously modified.

 

Also he never tried to pressure me into any of there used sti's
