EDIT for lots of responses: So what does everyone think about having one next thursday night (April 24th) and then we'll decide on a regular schedule following that? I don't know about the rest of you guys, but following that for me is finals and my girlfriend's gradeeayshun, so it may be best to start the regular ones a little further into the summer. So my Dad owns two restaurants (DC's Martinique Bar and Grill); one in stockbridge and one in conyers. We were talking last night and it occurred that this (duh!!) might be a great place for a meet. They're both pretty relaxed places with a really extensive, very reasonably priced menu and a full bar with lots of liquor and a good beer selection. The food runs the gamut from sandwiches to burgers to steak to pasta to burritos...and it's all very good. Dad found a killer chef. The french fry seasoning is absolutely amazing. Of course my Dad could work out some sort of hookup for us, the specifics of which we'll figure out once we decide the details of the meet, but I had the following idea: Since matt's every other tuesday meet seems to stop in april, maybe we could pick up some other kind of regular meet for the summer at my Dad's place? There's something pretty much every night of the week. As of now the schedule is: Monday - Trivia Tuesday - Acoustic music by Brian Wilson (not the dead guy from the Beach Boys...this dude is better) Wednesday - DJ Thursday - Brian Wilson once more and Texas Hold'em Friday/Saturday - Live band and DJ Sunday - 'Service Industry night' So let me know what you guys think about which night would work best and if/when you think we should start'em. I think this could be fun, as my Dad is also a huge car nut.
Well when are they stopping? I would be down for meeting at either Conyers or Stockbridge as I live right in the middle. Any night but Wednesday.

Sweet, sounds like we have some interest, then. I was thinking that if Matt's meets are going to continue into the summer we could either: combine the schedules or meet here on the off weeks of Matt's meets. We'll figure something out. Could we sticky this?

In addition, he was saying that there's a sportbike group that hangs out there monday evenings, so if we wanted to make the summer meet monday nights that might be cool?
Hell yeah a southside meet! Only problem is for the northside guys that wont even come down to midtown for meets. I should be able to do next thursday.
