Time to pull the 6 speed...

    Somebody is coming to get it this weekend so I need to get it out of the car. Anybody with some free time this week want to help?

    Well I can use the help on Thursday evening but it will not be until 8pm. I have to coach my son's soccer team and that won't be over until 7:30.
    I'll get the car up on the jack stands tommorow night and get most of it done leaving just the heavy lifting for Thursday.



    Swing on by and take a look at them. If they work for you and yours are in like shape then I don't see a problem with a trade.


    A stock 5mt.

    That's what I was thinking. If true it should be about a month and he will be pulling it again cause it grenaded. :p

    It will indeed be a stock 5mt and clutch until I figure out what I am going to do.

    Once I sell the SVX I'll have a couple of choices to make about upgrading the 5mt. Until then it will be wastegate pressure only. No more 32lbs of boost.

    That went about as well as could be expected since beer was invovled :beer:

    Seems like I still have quite a bit to do. I think all we managed to do was get the downpipe disconnected from the turbo.


    Looks like I'll be at it again this evening.

    A big thanks to Kingwrx, Face, pEd, and Yungdz for helping muscle the 6 speed out. I'd probably be trapped under my car right now without your help.

    Only got one out the 6 numbers right on the lotto ticket so I think the ppg 6mt is out of the question.


    If anyone has a dogbox I'd be interested in a ride to see how it drives. Unfortunately I don't think the wife will go for me getting a transmission that she can't drive.
