02-05 WRX was about 3100-3200. 06/07 gained a little and got up to 3200-3300. Not sure on the STI though. My RX8 is somewhere between 3000 and 3100.

I know what stock is. duh thats easy to figure out. I was just wondering what people are running. Im running out of stuff to pull out. The thing is the car looks completly stock except for the trunk. But i dont want a gutted car. Just a sleeper. Im running a vf-34,suspension is pretty much built. so Weight is a big thing espically when vetts think its going to be an easy race.

I've pulled out quite a bit: Tow brackets, Heat shields, Light weight rotas, brake dust covers, Bracket in glove box, bracket under steering wheel, rear seat belts(no one sits back there), bracket in center console, all the pading under carpet, all sound det, sound det on firewall, Everything in trunk is out, spare tire(bc it will ruin diffs), jack, braille battery, rear bumper frame, brace around ecu(made custom bracket). I know theres more but I can not think right now.

Next- subframe, crank pully, would love to get the cast iron header out

BrianGT--What else have you taken out to get the weight down? How much lighter were the racing seats?

I have a 1860 lb car. Well, its a 1970 Porsche 914 back before any of the new fangled saftey equipment. Front and rear fiberglass bumpers and the lighter subaru motor. 150 hp is fun in 1860 lb car.

I have not removed anything from the car nor have I ever had it actually weighed. I like the concept behind this thread though :)

I believe the slipstreams are meant to be quite light.

I don't believe any of the the Rotas are lighter than any impreza stock wheel, but I also don't think they're pigs.

If you have the car fresh off the show room floor with all the fluid tanks filled to spec, floor mats etc etc...its actually really close to it.

2004 STi, weighed at Roebling, full tank, nothing removed.

    3215

PS back when I was wheel shopping all the Rotas I looked at were listed 20-24 pounds for 17". Those listings above aren't what I saw back then.
