First of all, I need to get an emissions test. (my first one) Where do I go? (midtown) Do I need an appointment? I've got a couple small exhaust leaks, and for the life of me I can't get them to f-ing quit leaking!!! What's wrong with me that I can't quite a simple exhaust leak? I replaced the gasket and tightened up the bolts... WTF? Will these small leaks fail my emissions test? Thanks in advance for the help.
I think it depends where the leaks are. If you don't have any pre-cat leaks you should pass, right? There are some loud as fcuk cars on this forum that pass fulton co emissions. lol.
Yea, my catback is leaking too and we JUST put a new gasket in and replaced the bolts. Its rubbing too... I may be looking for a whole new set up
Ya. Dem GA inspecshun peoples are not noticing of the mods and leaks as lawg as et passes der o-bee-dee-two tester.
I went to Midas due to a bad mid-pipe to up-pipe flange fitment. Two different pipes one 2.5 the other 3. They customized the mid–pipe cutting and welding in a flex piece with a mating flange. The guy said the set up I had prior to his work would have leaked all day because not enough flex. This could be your issue. I would agree take it to Midas. It was a hell of allot cheaper than buying a new set up. My set up is leak free and it flows nicely!
